For anyone who will be in Victoria on April 6th the second annual Camosun College Comics Conference will be held that Sunday, with public hours (free admission!) from noon to 5pm. If you're a fan of comic art, visual storytelling, or any other comic-related area be sure to stop by and check out the second years crop of student work from Camosun's Comics and Graphic Novels program.

   As well there will be an array of national comic book talent on hand to speak to the attendees, including scarily-talented author/illustrator Scott Chantler (Two Generals), Canadian Comic Book Hall of Fame inductees Katherine Collins aka Arn Saba (Neil the Horse) and Deni Loubert (Renegade Press), Sam Logan (Sam & Fuzzy), and Simon Roy (Jan’s Atomic Heart).

I'll be a guest along with the cream of the lower-Island comic book artist/cartoonist/illustrator crop: Nelson Dewey, Gareth Gaudin, Janine Johnston, Glen Lovett, Renée Nault, and Ash Vickers. Plus lots more going on - hope to see you there!
